Mini Quartets book 1 & 2 for 4 violins From the writer of Impro, Dual Band and Music in a Box. No arguments here about who gets to play the first violin part - all violinists are equal and can choose their own coloured part (green, yellow, blue or red). Suitable for both group lessons and concerts, these two inspiring albums give pupils the chance to enjoy playing together in an ensemble. Book 1: Open strings, first and second finger. Book 2: first, second and third finger. The majority of numbers are 'coventionally' played but the books also include a few fun numbers such as 'Cowbow' where pupils play in guitar postion, 'Crunch' where they are asked to make grating sounds with their bow, 'One Sock' in which players have to tap their foot and 'Choices' giving them freedom to choose which notes they would like to play. | |||||||||||
